Room One

A beautiful and comfortable double room, with an en suite shower room. Situated upstairs in the main house.

It contains a king size bed, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a view of the garden.

The en suite has an extra large shower cubicle and plenty of towels and toiletries.

Room Two

This is the self contained room just across the drive from the house.

It offers flexible accommodation as it contains both a single and a double bed, as well as an en suite shower room. This room can be suitable as a double, a twin, or for three people sharing. It is ideal, too, as a family room. There is the added bonus of a table and chairs in this room so, if you prefer, your meals can be delivered to you.

This is also our dog friendly room where well behaved dogs are welcome.

Room Three

This room is a recent addition and is a twin room upstairs in the main house.

Although not en suite, it does have a very spacious and comfortable private bathroom, with a bath and shower, just a door away.

There are two single beds in this room, plenty of storage space, and it is also home to my vast collection of cookbooks! Something to flick through should you wish.

Local Area

Places of interest in the area

Walk out of the front door and within a few yards you will find Offa’s Dyke crossing the lane. In one direction is Knighton, and in the other, Montgomery. The Dyke’s halfway marker sits just up the hill behind our house, on the way to Montgomery.

The Shropshire Way is also accessible on foot, just minutes away. By taking a lane or two up onto the ridgeway opposite, you can walk a scenic route to Clun, where a pub lunch, Clun castle and a few small shops await you.

The Kerry Ridgeway, an ancient Drover’s route, is just a short drive away.

Nearby towns worth a visit include Bishop’s Castle, Knighton, Much Wenlock, Ironbridge, Church Stretton, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. Ludlow in particular will interest any ‘foodies’ with it’s vast array of restaurants, cafes and specialist food shops. It also hosts numerous markets, including ‘Local to Ludlow’, and food festivals in May, September and November.
